As one of them was getting off he followed suit, and pleaded for a place to sleep. The kind-hearted stranger agreed, took him, provided a meal, and let him stay for the night.

Following morning, he returned to his friend. Ope had lost his job and temporary place to stay because of bringing Ola. They were both without a home, so they continued looking for buildings to work. They found one and pleaded with the security to let them stay since they were workers. After a week of laboring, Ola applied for a cleaning job in an office in Ikoyi.

He earned 17,500 naira every month as a cleaner. To increase his income, he cleaned homes in Lekki afterwards. He had a strong passion for “luxury,” especially cars.
