The Ingryd Scholarship Program is an initiative designed to equip mid-level tech talents with in-demand tech skills. For instance, skills such as Java, Linux, Cybersecurity, and Data Science. In fact offer them job placements after training. LSETF was thus established by The Lagos State Employment Trust Fund Law 2016. INGRYD SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM is set to train 4,000 individuals annually. 

Hence, the program’s six-month curriculum includes a three-month paid internship, enabling them gain practical experience and skills.

By leveraging each other’s strengths, they aim to create a system where innovation thrives, tech careers flourish, and Africa’s potential is fully realized. This commitment underscores the program’s dedication to nurturing tech talent and driving progress on the African continent.

INGRID SCHOLARSHIP PARTNERS WITH LSETF

To achieve this vision, INGRYD and LAGOS STATE EMPLOYMENT TRUST FUND have established a partnership. This partnership exemplifies the collaborative vision of two entities deeply committed to shaping the future of tech talent in Africa.

This partnership provides aspiring tech professionals with the skills and resources they need to succeed in an evolving tech landscape.

CEO Ingryd Academy said the partnership with LSETF envisions a future where Africa’s talent rises to its potential while driving innovation to the global landscape.

Likewise, the Director and Coordinator at Lagos State Employment Trust Fund stated the partnership signifies an endeavor to bridge the gap in the tech sector, job creation, and equip youths with skills for an evolving industry. It signifys public-private partnerships in driving economic development and talent in the region.”

The INGRID SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM with an initial capital of N25 Billion. This is contributed over 4 years by the Lagos State Government. The fund is a powerhouse that embraces funds from varied sources namely, donor partners, corporate organizations, and individuals.

In conclusion, it emphasized how public-private partnerships drive economic development and nurture talent in the region.
