From Campus to Couture: ODUNNIGA ELIZABETH’s LYZNG_RTW.

ELIZABETH takes us on a breathtaking student entrepreneurial story. Her business, LYZNG_RTW, took root in 2018 during her first year at her Polytechnic. Which was the FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC EDE, Osun State, where she pursued her studies in mathematics and Statistics.

Balancing Academics and Entrepreneurship: Navigating Challenges at FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC EDE

Alongside her academic journey, she also enrolled in a fashion school to hone my skills in fashion design.

Moreover, fuelled by her passion for fashion, she initiated this venture as a fashion enthusiast with a keen sense of style. Notwithstanding, the challenges she faced were manifold. But the most prominent hurdle was balancing the demands of both business and studies. Likewise, managing orders from a distance which required nationwide way billing of dresses.

Juggling these two aspects significantly impacted her, as one had to make concessions for the other. Despite the struggles, she is indebted to the customers and clients she encountered on her entrepreneurial journey. Their receptiveness, patience, and respect for customer compliance were pivotal. Even so, acknowledging the pressures a young entrepreneur like her faced in running LYZNG_RTW. Jack of many trades describes her well, as she not only sold women’s wear but also ventured into selling men’s fabric. Notwithstanding, she also became a seafood vendor.

Diversifying Ventures: From Fashion Enthusiast to Jack of Many Trades

Reflecting on her growth since inception, she has made substantial progress, experiencing growth and achieving milestones effortlessly. Now that she’s completed my academic journey and serving, her undivided focus is on propelling her business forward. She cherishes the friendships, achievements, and profitable relationships formed with customers during this journey. Fueled by this passion, she is determined to provide even better services for her customers.

However, her current endeavors involve channeling her energy into marketing and content creation. Primarily aiming to establish a robust online and offline presence. Looking to the future, her plans revolve around building a well-structured brand that authentically represents her values and a beacon for her entrepreneurial spirit.
