The House of Rubies, Ruby’s business child, centers on perfumes. Having pursued Mass Communication at the University of Nigeria Nsukka, she takes great pleasure in the art of smelling good. Moreover,  she considers it an honor to provide people with the essentials to exude a delightful scent. According to her, smelling good is not only a personal preference but a serious business that reflects good hygiene and a captivating aura.

In 2019, during a long-term break in her third year at the University, Don-Egesimba initiated her perfume business. While she thoroughly enjoyed the venture, the primary objective was to enhance her financial stability. The initial phase proved challenging, but over time, she started generating additional income, establishing a sense of stability for herself.

Nevertheless, due to some discrepancies and relocation, The House of Rubies is currently on a brief hiatus. Despite this, Don-Egesimba is optimistic about a strong comeback after resolving these issues.

Grateful for the support of her customers, she acknowledges their receptiveness to her business. After all, who wouldn’t want to smell nice? She expresses her gratitude for the seamless blend of her business and academic pursuits. Even so, attributing her success in school to the lack of difficulty posed by her business.
