The merit-based scholarship is open to full-time female undergraduates. Thus, studying various engineering and related courses in public universities within Nigeria. They include Architecture, Building and Construction, Building Engineering, Building Technology, and Cartography, Chemical Engineering, Civil, and Construction Engineering. In addition, Construction Project Management, Electrical, Land Surveying, Mechanical, Metallurgical and Material Engineering, Metallurgy. Nonetheless, Production Engineering, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, and Structural Engineering.
To be eligible for the Empowering Nigerian Student: Julius Berger Nigeria Scholarship Award, applicants must:
Be a citizen of Nigeria
Be a female
Be enrolled in a Federal or State-owned University based in Nigeria
Be in the Faculty of Engineering /Environmental /Technology
Currently in their second year of full-time study in a Nigerian Federal or State University accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC)
Have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 in a 5-grade system
The scholarships are renewable until graduation, contingent upon the recipients’ maintenance of high academic and ethical standards. Likewise, compliance with other conditions outlined in the scholarship award letter.
