The best business ideas often come from lived experience. This is exactly the case for Chase Rosen who knows firsthand how complicated it is to start a business. Hence, his idea was to make the process simpler for everyone else.

Rosen is a third-year Economics and Applied Statistics student at the University of Virginia and the co-founder of LaunchBridge, an AI-powered platform that helps entrepreneurs set up a business in less than 72 hours. The platform handles the steps that typically slow new founders down. For instance, they handle registering a limited liability company, obtaining a federal employer identification number, building a website, and setting up payments. All of these in one place and in under three days.

Competing Against 26,000 Builders Worldwide

The idea earned Rosen and his team fourth place and $100,000 in the Google-sponsored Build with Gemini XPRIZE competition. The competition was a global challenge that invited builders to create a revenue-generating, AI-powered business in just 90 days. Over 26,000 registered participants took on the challenge from around the world. Afterward, Judges evaluated each entry based on how viable the business was, how effectively it used AI, and the broader impact it could have.

Five finalists made it to the final stage. Undoubtedly, Rosen’s team was one of them.

Rosen Pitched to the Best in the Room

Rosen presented LaunchBridge at Moonshots LIVE in Los Angeles before a panel that included some of the most recognized names in entrepreneurship and technology. Founders of companies like ARK Invest, Anduril Industries, and Zynga, alongside a representative from Google DeepMind were present. Clearly, pitching at that level as a university student is no small feat.

What Comes Next For Rosen and His Team

Rosen and his team plan to invest the $100,000 winnings directly back into LaunchBridge, using it to fund a state-by-state expansion plan across the United States.

His story reminds student entrepreneurs that entrepreneurial experience is not just something you build a business from. It is also something you can build a business about. Ultimately, the friction he experienced starting out became the problem LaunchBridge was built to solve.
