This specifically is Ubizcabs, a high-end, women-run taxi service launched by Nzolantima. Moreover, it\u2019s more than just a way to get around\u2014it\u2019s a movement redefining urban mobility and women\u2019s roles in the DRC.<\/p>\n

Nzolantima, a trailblazing entrepreneur, is practically breaking cultural barriers by inviting women into a male-dominated industry. Even so, opening economic opportunities. More so, her vision reaches beyond transportation. She specifically aims to economically empower women and ignite a ripple effect that boosts African economies.<\/p>\n

Patricia Nzolantima empowers DRC women through tech<\/h3>\n

Additionally, since its launch, Ubizcabs has gained quick popularity for its quality service and empowering mission. Nevertheless, this taxi service caters to Kinshasa\u2019s growing middle class by offering safe, reliable, and woman-led rides. Furthermore, Nzolantima also trains up to 100 female drivers annually through the \u201cWomen of the Future\u201d academy.<\/p>\n

Accordingly, the program equips these women not only with driving skills but also with tools for financial stability. Through vehicle financing, small business loans, and credit access via M\u2019kento, a women\u2019s digital bank, Nzolantima helps these drivers. Particularly, to overcome obstacles in the transportation industry, where women hold just 17% of jobs worldwide. More so, due to limited resources and social expectations.<\/p>\n

Notwithstanding, Nzolantima is on a mission to change this narrative through social innovation. \u201cWe believe the present is female,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, Ubizcabs offers a secure transportation solution, addressing Kinshasa\u2019s safety concerns. Its door-to-door service, GPS tracking, and online booking system ensure a safe and convenient experience for women in the city. In addition to Ubizcabs, Nzolantima <\/a>has ventured into logistics, creating delivery services and micro-loans for small retailers. Through Bizzoly Transport and Logistics, women drivers can build credit histories, access funds, and obtain insurance.
