The Digital Jewels Africa Scholarship 2026 is now open for applications. Running under the DJ Cares Scholarship Scheme, the initiative exists to support outstanding but financially disadvantaged Nigerian students pursuing Information Technology degrees in public universities. Beyond financial support, it also connects recipients with industry leaders and career development opportunities in the Nigerian tech space. Selected scholars will receive 100% coverage of their university tuition fees from the point the scholarship is awarded right through to graduation. Who Can Apply?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The scholarship is open to Nigerian students currently enrolled in a Federal or State public university and pursuing an IT-related course. Eligible courses include Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, and Electrical\/Electronics Engineering with an IT focus, among other related disciplines. Applicants must also demonstrate strong academic performance and show evidence of financial need.
