She launched Taeillo at age 26, a Nigerian furniture business that combines traditional African designs with hip tech tools like augmented reality. Jumoke was not merely selling tables and chairs\u2014she was transforming how young people shop for furniture online.<\/p>\n<p>Equipped with a degree in interior design and a bold mindset,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/jumokedada\/\" target=\"_blank\">Jumoke<\/a>&nbsp;Dada saw what others did not. She understood that most Nigerians were either buying imported furniture that had no cultural reflection or waiting indefinitely for custom orders. She was determined to alter that by establishing a digital-first brand with furniture that&#8217;s modern, unapologetically African, and can be viewed in 3D before being bought.<\/p>\n<p>Taeillo enables consumers to visualize what their home would look like with the furniture in it before the furniture even arrives. That&#8217;s big. And it made a lot of people sit up and take notice.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Jumoke Dada Didn&#8217;t Let Challenges Stop Her<\/h3>\n<p>Building a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/thestudententrepreneur.org\/?p=10370\" target=\"_blank\">tech<\/a>-enabled furniture company in Nigeria was not a stroll in the park. There were setbacks like delayed deliveries, doubters who didn&#8217;t think online shopping would work, and sourcing materials locally. But Jumoke didn&#8217;t stop. She kept learning, pivoting, and growing.<\/p>\n<p>And it paid off.<\/p>\n<p>In 2022, Taeillo raised $2.5 million in funding. That investment scaled production, sped up delivery, and grew her team.
