Beginning a business while still in school is one of the wisest ways to acquire hands-on experience. Not only does it make you learn discipline, but it also builds your confidence and leadership skills. If you have always wanted to begin your own business, now is the best time. Here are five simple yet powerful steps to begin<\/a> your first business without sacrificing your studies.<\/p>\n

1. Find a Problem Worth Solving<\/h3>\n

All successful businesses solve a problem. So, look around you. What <\/a>are your fellow students complaining about? Do they need something on campus? For instance, if there is a waiting list for printing, begin a mobile printing service. The key is to observe and seek what is missing.<\/p>\n

2. Verify Your Idea<\/h3>\n

Before investing too much of your energy, speak to your target audience. Get them to tell you the truth. Do they find your idea to be valuable? Would they pay for it? Utilize polling, surveys, or friendly chats to listen to their feedback. Additionally, test the idea on a small scale. This approach reduces your risk and increases your courage to continue.<\/p>\n

3. Start With What You Have<\/h3>\n

The majority of students believe they need tons of capital to start. Not so. Most businesses can start from zero naira.
