Onaolapo Bukola Elizabeth<\/strong> is a 300-level Communication and Language Arts Education student at the University of Ibadan (UI). She is also the founder of Belizona<\/a> Aesthetics, a campus beauty and resin art brand. Her path from telecoms to beauty is a lesson in reading the market and adapting when conditions change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Early Drive and the Pivot from Telecoms<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Elizabeth learned the basics of trade from her mother. Personal challenges taught her self-reliance early, so she entered university determined to build her own source of income.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In her first month on campus, she studied student routines and spotted an opportunity. She had spent years selling data and airtime, so she expanded into Point of Sale (POS) services and launched Eliza Telecommunications. Her 100-level hostel room was centrally located, and it drew steady daily traffic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her second year brought a test. Room allocations moved her to an isolated floor, and sales dropped almost overnight. Elizabeth knew convenience drives customer habits, but she refused to shut the business down. She handed daily operations to a partner in a busier location. That freed her time to learn new skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Birth of Belizona Aesthetics<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

With the POS business delegated, Elizabeth trained in hair styling, nail technology and resin artistry. In December 2025, she brought these services together under one name: Belizona Aesthetics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond salon services, she makes customized resin products: branded key chains, phone pouches, personalized jewelry, bespoke frames and event souvenirs. The mix meets a real campus need, since female students want dependable beauty services and personalized gifts close by.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It also solved a scheduling problem. Complex hair styling can take anywhere from one to eight hours of hands-on attention. Resin art is more flexible, because she can plan curing and design work around her lectures and still fulfill orders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Managing the Demands of Campus Venture Building<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
